William Holcum's Watch, c. 1952, (Hamilton Watch Company)

This timepiece was used by the navigator and pilot as the airplane's master time source. Timepieces like this one were used from World War Two and on. The timepiece uses a 22 jewel Hamilton 4992 movement. It is often referred to as a Navigational Master Watch. This watch was given to Pilot, Mr. Edward Hobday, prior to Mr. Holcum’s final flight.
