Warren Greenawalt, Sr. Pocket Watch, c. 1915, (Unknown Swiss Maker)
This pocket watch was badly damaged when a bomb being loaded onto a bomber exploded, killing the ground crew. The crystal, dial and case were all damaged. A small piece of shrapnel pierced the case and damaged the movement inside the watch as well. Loan courtesy of Mr. Warren H. Greenawalt, Jr.

White enamel dial with both a 12-hour dial in black Arabic numerals and a 24-hour military style dial.
